New Saltwater Fishing Service Helping Ocean Fishermen Worldwide
Ventura, CA (PRWEB) September 5, 2007 -- Fishing researcher, Dan Eggertsen, has come up with a unique way of helping saltwater fishermen of all ages catch more fish.
Any saltwater fisherman can submit question through his new website ( Ask Saltwater Fishing (http://www.asksaltwaterfishing.com) ) and get a detailed answer posted up on the site almost immediately. Dan and his staff of 10 fishing experts are working around the clock to service every question that comes in through the site - so that everyone can get an answer as quickly as possible.
We asked Dan how he came up with the idea, and what his goal is for the site: "I wanted to provide a free service to the fishing public - especially to beginners. I know for a fact that some people are embarrassed to ask questions from the locals, so this is a way for them to get answers anonymously. My goal is to continue posting answers to questions, and to eventually be a major source of information in the saltwater fishing world."
Many answers include detailed diagrams and photos to show anglers exactly how to do something, as well as audio and video demonstrations.
Questions and answers range from a variety of topics such as bait, lures, species specific answers, surf fishing and more.
You can find Dan's site at: http://www.asksaltwaterfishing.com

Thoughts On Freshwater vs. Saltwater Fishing
I love fishing of any kind, but some people prefer fishing in saltwater and some people prefer fishing in freshwater. Many people feel very strongly about their decision, and sometimes you can elicit the same type of reaction from them as you would if you questioned their religion. Freshwater fishing is usually a more slow paced style of fishing with more waiting in between bites and catching fish. You also may have to work harder to find fish when fishing in freshwater. However I think that fishing off the bank in freshwater is far more productive than fishing from the beach in saltwater. I also really like freshwater fishing, because it is less costly to successfully fish in freshwater. Also lures are more beneficial in the freshwater, so...

Fly Fishing Secrets for the Novice as Well as the Seasoned Angler
Perhaps the most rewarding element of fly fishing is the variety
of beautiful natural surroundings in which anglers often find
themselves; a secluded stream up in the mountains, a peaceful
meandering river deep in the forest, or a tranquil blue lake
somewhere out in big sky country. For some, it may be the
opportunity to test ones' individual skill against nature - in an
intricate game of cat and mouse (but in this case, man against

Guide To Trout Fishing In Arkansas
To me, baseball isn't the great American pastime; fishing is. I was raised on Arkansas trout fishing, and my son has been raised on it as well. Trout fishing in Arkansas is one of the most popular ways to spend time. You see, things move a little bit slower down there. I don't want you to think that we are all rednecks. Yes friends, we have electricity, plumbing, high-tech industry, and some of the greatest cities in the world. In Arkansas, however, unlike in much of the rest of America, these things do not replace the great outdoors. We still continue to take pleasure in nature, even as we enjoy the modern conveniences of life.

In efforts to increase hatchery fish survival, the Mollyockett Chapter for Trout Unlimited will float stock the upper Androscoggin River this spring under the direction of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (MDIFW) in time for the Maine fly fishing season. By attaching a net to a drift boat, hatchery fish are gradually released in locations along the watershed. Last year was the first year the Maine DIFW stocked the upper Androscoggin using drift boats.
Trout Fishing Techniques
One of the most popular trout fishing techniques is called trolling. Trolling is popular as far as trout fishing techniques go because on still bodies of fresh water like lakes and ponds, the act of fishing for trout is meant to be as relaxing and enjoyable as the act of catching trout is exhilarating.
